*🌿 The Organic Way to Krishna Bhakti 🌿*
— Sri Krishna Janmashtami Special from Organic Krishna Mandiram
(Founded by IIT Guwahati & IIT Madras Alumni)
In this vast universe, the simplest offering is also the greatest — a heart surrendered to God.
Today, many confuse devotion with display — spending large sums on decorations, rituals, and grand functions. But once the lights fade, often only debts and fatigue remain. True bhakti asks for none of this.
The saints knew the secret. Meerabai sang in the streets, lost in the name of Krishna. Sant Tukaram poured his soul into abhangas (devotional verses) while living simply. Samarth Ramdas dedicated every breath to Rama’s service. They did not seek gold, fame, or temples of marble — their temple was the heart, their wealth was love, and their reward was God’s smile.
*🌸 What the Scriptures Say about Bhakti*
*Bhagavad Gita 9.26*
> patraṁ puṣpaṁ phalaṁ toyaṁ yo me bhaktyā prayacchati
“Offer Me a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or water with devotion, and I will accept it.”
*Mahabharata – Shanti Parva*
“The Lord is not won by wealth, rituals, or lineage— only by the pure mind that sees Him in all beings.”
*Katha Upanishad*
*“When the senses are stilled, the mind is at rest, and the intellect is firm, then the Self is revealed.”*
*These words remind us — Krishna does not measure devotion in rupees, but in sincerity.*
*🌼 Bhakti in the Modern World*
*Sadly, the path of devotion has been clouded by commercialism. Membership fees, dress codes, food restrictions, and even superstition have become gatekeepers to God. But Krishna Himself shattered such barriers — eating fruit from Shabari’s hands, dancing with the gopas and gopis without asking for status or payment.*
Everything we see — wealth, flowers, incense — is already created by Him. Offering these is symbolic, but offering our mind, time, and love is what truly pleases the Lord.
*🌿 Living Bhakti the Organic Way*
At Organic Krishna Mandiram, bhakti is simple, free, and open to all:
Chanting His names in the fields, under the open sky.
Planting trees as acts of devotion.
Serving food freely without conditions.
*Living naturally, in harmony with His creation.*
We believe “Nature is God’s temple, and the heart is His sanctum.”

*💛 The Essence*
*This Janmashtami, let us celebrate Krishna not only with lights and songs, but with the surrender of our hearts*.
To live in bhakti is to see Krishna everywhere — in the morning sun, in the wind that touches your face, in the stranger you help, in the food you share.
Let us walk the path of saints, leave behind the burden of show, and enter the joy of pure devotion.
*Bhakti is not about doing more — it’s about loving more.*
*🌿 Jai Shri Krishna! Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya 🌿*
