*🌸 A Journey from IIT to Devotion*
P. Venkateshwarlu Panugulla, son of Panugulla Yadaiah (Farmer) and Late Jayyama, completed his Master’s from IIT Guwahati (GATE AIR 114). He later began a PhD at IIT Hyderabad, but made the conscious choice to leave it incomplete in order to dedicate himself fully to Krishna devotion and service.
*He built a diverse career, working in:*
Drug Discovery & Pharma Industry projects
India’s top defence research organisation (DRDO Pune)
International schools & colleges in India and UAE
Corporate institutes as an Advanced Organic Chemistry faculty for IIT JEE
For years, he balanced 6 months of professional work with 6 months of devotional travel to Himalayan Ashrams, Dwaraka, Puri, Udupi, Mathura, and Vrindavan — learning the living traditions of Krishna bhakti directly from saints.
🙏 The Divine Call
In 2015, a revered Himalayan sage — who wishes to remain unknown — gave a message believed to be from Lord Krishna Himself:
“Build this Mandir.”
With only ₹3 lakhs (₹2 lakhs personal savings + ₹1 lakh from Sri Kalyan Choudhary), the Bhoomi Pooja was held on 5th May 2015 at Talla Vellamla, near Vijayawada Highway, Hyderabad.
From this humble start, the Mandir slowly took shape. Today, the project stands in its final stage, with a total expenditure of ₹1.2 crores — 70% from the founder and
*30% of the financial support came from my dearest friends with pure hearts — including Sri Kalyan Choudhary (IIMK), Sri M. Rajendra (IIT Guwahati), and Sai Krishna — along with many other near and dear ones who stood by me selflessly."*
*🌼Inspiring Over 10,000 Devotees*
Today,Organic Krishna Mandiram has touched the lives of 10,000+ Krishna devotees, inspiring them to embrace bhakti in its purest and simplest form. The vision and ideology are supported by IIT Guwahati & IIT Madras alumni, who believe true devotion is beyond commercialism, rituals-for-show, and rigid restrictions.
📜 *Wisdom from the Saints*
The great saints taught that the heart is the real temple:
Meerabai sang in the streets, lost in Krishna’s name.
Sant Tukaram poured his soul into abhangas while living simply.
Samarth Ramdas offered every breath to the Lord’s service.
Even Lord Krishna Himself showed this truth in His friendship with Sudama — the poor Brahmin who came to Him with nothing but a humble gift of beaten rice. Krishna welcomed him with tears of love, seating him on His own throne, washing his feet, and embracing him as His dearest friend. In Krishna’s eyes, love outweighed all wealth.
*📖 What the Scriptures Say*
*Bhagavad Gita 9.26*
patraṁ puṣpaṁ phalaṁ toyaṁ yo me bhaktyā prayacchati
“Offer Me a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or water with devotion, and I will accept it.”
*Mahabharata – Shanti Parva*
“The Lord is not won by wealth, rituals, or lineage — only by the pure mind that sees Him in all beings.”
*Katha Upanishad*
*“When the senses are stilled, the mind is at rest, and the intellect is firm, then the Self is revealed.”*
🌏 *Bhakti in the Modern World*
*Today, devotion is often clouded by* *membership fees, *dress codes, food restrictions, and superstition.*
*But Krishna Himself broke all such barriers*
He danced with gopas and gopis without concern for caste.
He accepted Draupadi’s humble greens with more joy than royal feasts.
He embraced Sudama, proving that the smallest offering given with love is greater than a king’s treasure.
🌿 *Living Bhakti the Organic Way*
*At Organic Krishna Mandiram, devotion is:*
Simple, free, and open to all
Chanting His names under the open sky
Planting trees as acts of love
Serving food without conditions
Living naturally, in harmony with His creation
*We believe:*
*“Nature is God’s temple, and the heart is His sanctum.”*
💛 *The Janmashtami Message*
This Janmashtami, let us celebrate Krishna’s birth not only with lights and music, but with the surrender of our hearts.*
*To live in bhakti is to:*
See Krishna in the morning sun
*Feel Him in the wind that touches your face*
*Serve Him in the stranger you help*
*Offer to Him the food you share*
*Bhakti is not about doing more — it’s about loving more.*
*🌿 Jai Shri Krishna! Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya 🌿*
